Mental Performance Training for
Lacrosse
Mental performance coaching for lacrosse players looking to play freely, trust their preparation, recover from mistakes, and compete with confidence.
Your physical talent may not be the problem…
& the solution may not be continuing to fine tune your physical skills or working on your fitness. What if the solution is fine tuning your mental skills?
Lacrosse is fast-paced, high-pressure, and filled with opportunities to make an impact. And with every opportunity comes pressure to perform.
Every possession can be a chance to make a great play, but also an opportunity to replay the last mistake, worry about the next decision, or get caught up in the score. One missed shot, turnover, penalty, or goal can quickly lead to several mistakes if your mind doesn’t recover from it.
While developing your physical game is essential, your ability to manage your thoughts, emotions, and focus often determines how consistently you perform and contribute to your team. Learning to stay present, trust your preparation and teammates, and respond well to pressure and adversity is the difference that turns good lacrosse players into great ones.

What do sessions look like?
Every athlete is different, so sessions are tailored to your goals and challenges. Together, we’ll come up with a game plan for our work together and individualize practical mental skills you can use during practices and games.
Logistically, our initial intake session is 50-minutes and follow-ups are 40-minutes. Sessions can be scheduled session-to-session.
Why do lacrosse athletes benefit from mental performance training?
Lacrosse is a unique sport that places a mental load on athletes. With lacrosse being a tight knit community and being a fast-paced game, there can often be fluctuations in a lacrosse player’s mental game.
Mental performance training helps players build confidence, learn how to not hide on the field, manage pressure, stay focused, and perform consistently while contributing effectively to their team and their goals within the sport.
