Your technical skills may not be the problem…

& the solution may not be continuing to fine tune your physical skills. What if the solution is fine tuning your mental skills?

Gymnastics and dance give you something many sports don't: moments before you perform where your mind can either help or hurt you.

It's easy to replay a mistake from your last routine, dwell on a fall or missed skill, or worry about what's coming next. One mistake can quickly impact the rest of your performance if your mindset doesn't recover.

While developing your physical abilities is essential, your ability to manage your thoughts, emotions, and focus often determines how consistently you perform. Learning to stay present, trust your training, and respond well to adversity is the difference that turns good gymnasts and dancers into great ones.

You may struggle with…

Overthinking before your routine or performance

✓ Struggling to let go of a mistake, fall, or missed skill

✓ Performing great in practice but not in competition

Losing confidence when a mistake occurs

Obsessing over your scores or placements

✓ Feeling pressure before you perform

Fear of not performing to your potential

Comparing yourself to teammates, competitors, or scores

Uncertainty with how to train your mental game

These are incredibly common challenges. AND, they’re trainable.

Mental performance is a skill that can be built,

not just a mindset.

FAQs

What do sessions look like?

Every athlete is different, so sessions are tailored to your goals and challenges. Together, we’ll come up with a game plan for our work together and individualize practical mental skills you can use during practices and competitions.

Logistically, our initial intake session is 50-minutes and follow-ups are 40-minutes. You can schedule session by session, or we do monthly options with 4, 2, or 1 session per month.

Why do individual sport athletes benefit from mental performance training?

Individual sports place a unique mental load on athletes.

There are no teammates to hide behind, every performance feels personal, mistakes can feel like they define you, and success or failure often feels entirely on your shoulders.

Mental performance training helps athletes learn how to compete with confidence, resilience, and trust in themselves, regardless of the outcome.
